History

Sumicarol is a family company that works in the industrial supply. It is more 40 years that it set up in Vigo in 1982. At first, the business was managed to local commerce and regional: metal, wood, board industry, automotive and shipyard. Nowadays, it focusses in both areas: national and international commerce. Besides, Sumicarol has an important position in new markets, such as, distribution.

In 1998, due to own initiative and the beginning of a renovation technological of equipment, computer and communication programs, that finished before 2000, the company obtained the quality certification according to Rule UNE-EN-ISO.

In 2005, it is taken a huge decision about the creation of own factory of transformation of abrasives. The factory originates from a changing and global market. STC Stacab is provided with the latest technology for production of abrasive materials in all their shapes: belts, rolls, flap wheels, sand sheet and sand disc. This large range of products and thanks to a group of professionals with the best qualifications and a lot of experience make us an important company in our sector.

Due to the opening of national and international market, Sumicarol inaugurated their new installations in 2013, that it has a better storage space and conditions for the conservation of products.

Its strategic situation, in relation to the rest of the peninsula, provides a better service to our clients.

At the end of 2019, STC Stacab moved their installations and increased of manufacturing lines. Therefore, we achieved a huge production and a wide range of products.
